About Plex:Every once in a while, an artist arrives whose lyrics and delivery are captivating from the moment you hear their voice. Calmplex, aka Rich Martinez, has crafted a direct and timeless flow through years of hustlin and grindin through the underground scene in the DMV(DC, MD, VA). Having done shows all over including DC, NY, Miami, and LA, and winning freestyle battles on 95.5 WPGS, and WKYS 93.9, and a couple showcases among other things, Plex's name and fanbase have been growing and "spreadin like cancer".
From Plex: I am currently looking for a record deal. If you are an A&R or are interested in working with me, let me know. I'm ready to take this to the next level. I appreciate every person who loves my music. It makes everything I go through worth it. Also, To keep you all updated Im talking with a couple record labels for a major label debut album soon. In the meantime, the current CD: A Calmplex Situation Vol. 3 is available on this site and several other outlets. The CD has 16 tracks and has been called "One of the best Independent Hip-Hop CDs of 2007" - Musik Lyfe Magazine. You need to come out to a Calmplex show and "Get Hype" with me.

I lived in Maryland for a couple years and watching the video in your "about me", brought back bad memories hahahaha
